Referral Advisors are technical experts with extensive project/product development experience in NZ - a critical extension to our recruitment arm.
e.g. If you are hiring a senior java developer, we will assign 2 or 3 java experts from within our referral advisor network to work with our recruiters with identifying suitable candidates and also conduct technical assessment.

We do the following things that your "average" tech recruiter will NOT do:
- Read candidate's code on Github
- Question candidate on design patterns, performance optimization, concurrency, and their favorite unit testing tool:)
- We go to "places" where the best candidate lives - i.e. StackOverflow, Github & community tech meetup groups :)

Meet The Team
Roy Sun
Roy founded Sun Recruitment in 2015 with one simple goal - deliver the best tech recruitment service for our clients. Prior to this, Roy has spent his early career working as a software engineer for software product companies in NZ, then moved into IT consultancy working for Tenzing, EY & Accenture.
Apart from work, you will see Roy practicing his kick serve on a tennis court in East Auckland and organizing meetup events for Auckland Professional Meetup Group (with over 3000 active members)
